Campervan Sinks Lightweight, Durable & Made for Tiny Spaces
Looking for the best sink for your van conversion, campervan, or RV kitchen? Welcome to The Little Vanporium. I design colourful, ultra-light campervan sinks made from high-quality melamine—tough, chip-resistant, and far less fragile than ceramic or glass. That means you keep weight down without sacrificing durability.
Each sink is compact, easy to install, and built for everyday vanlife—whether you’re full-timing on the road, building out a camper conversion, or heading out for weekend adventures. Choose from vibrant colours and patterns to add personality to your rolling home.
A Personal Note
Hi, I’m Jenny the solo female founder behind The Little Vanporium. I’ve been living full-time in my van since 2019, the very first sink I created a turquoise Midi was for my own build, which has now been road-tested for over five years and still looks as good today as the day I installed it; proving that lightweight design doesn’t mean sacrificing personality.
I started The Little Vanporium because I was tired of the blandness of stainless steel. I wanted to bring creativity, colour, and bold design into tiny homes and campervans, making the sink a hero feature instead of an afterthought. My mission is simple: to offer vanlifers and small-space dreamers sinks that are practical, long-lasting, and full of personality.
Why Choose a Little Vanporium Campervan Sink?
-
Lightweight & durable — melamine sinks are far lighter than ceramic and less prone to chips than enamel or stainless steel.
-
Space-smart sizing — compact footprints designed to fit tight galley layouts in campervans, RVs, and tiny homes.
-
Easy installation — drop-in design fits standard cut-outs for quick conversions.
-
Style your build — choose bold colours and patterns to match your interior design.
💡 Unlike ceramic or stainless steel, melamine sinks are quieter on bumpy roads and won’t weigh down your build.
Campervan Sink FAQs
What’s the best material for a campervan sink?
Melamine is one of the best choices for vanlife. It’s lightweight, durable, and much quieter on bumpy roads than ceramic or stainless steel. Because it resists chips and cracks, it’s ideal for campervans, RVs, and tiny homes where durability matters.
Will a compact sink be big enough for daily use?
Yes, our compact sinks are designed with everyday practicality in mind. They take up minimal counter space & the bowl depth requires less water, whilst still offering enough space to wash up. That balance makes them perfect for small camper kitchens, van conversions, and RV galley layouts.
Is melamine easy to live with?
Very. Melamine sinks wipe clean quickly and are far less fragile than ceramic or glass. They’re designed for the realities of life on the road. Just avoid placing hot pans straight from the hob onto the surface, as with any sink material.
How hard is installation?
Not hard at all. These sinks are designed for drop-in installation using standard cut-outs, making them a great fit for DIY campervan conversions. With careful measuring (always measure twice, cut once), you can have your sink fitted and ready in no time.
How to Choose the Right Sink for Your Campervan
When selecting a campervan sink, consider three key factors:
-
Weight — lighter sinks reduce strain on your conversion and save fuel.
-
Durability — melamine is stronger and more forgiving than ceramic.
-
Size — balance counter space with bowl depth so you can wash up without losing storage.
✨ Add a splash of colour and make your van kitchen truly yours with a Little Vanporium campervan sink.
